Dr. Manushanker Balasubramanian

Manushanker Balasubramanian received the B.E. degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Madras University, Chennai, India, in 2004, the M.S. in Electromagnetics Optics and Microwave Engineering from Hamburg University of Technology, Hamburg, Germany, in 2009 and PhD degree in Computational Electromagnetics from the University of Siena, Siena, Italy, in 2015. From 2009 through 2015 he worked as a researcher at Fraunhofer FHR, Germany, where he developed Uniform Theory of Diffraction (UTD) solver for treating electromagnetic scattering and radiation problems. Prior to joining Penn State, he worked as an asymptotic solver developer at Altair Engineering, Boeblingen, Germany.
Dr. Manushanker is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher in CEARL. His research interest include computational electromagnetics, asymptotic methods, ray tracing and antenna design.
