Wending Mai received the B.S. degree in electronic information science and technology and M.S. degree in radio physics from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, in 2007 and 2010, respectively. He has been pursuing the Ph.D. degree in electromagnetic and microwave technology since 2015, at University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China. From 2017, he has been a visiting scholar at Computational Electromagnetics and Antenna Research Laboratory (CEARL) in Penn State University under Dr. Douglas H. Werner’s guidance.

In 2007, he was a Student Researcher in Lenovo Research Institute, Chengdu, China. From 2010 to 2012, he was a Marketing Engineer in Chinese Telecom Team of Texas Instrument, Dallas, U.S.. His research interest includes computational electromagnetics, multiscale and multiphysics, and metamaterials.
